WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
“Where have you been?” is an art exhibition that takes viewers on a journey to the places I have been and people I have met since I moved to Toronto to pursue my education in fine arts. I documented my experiences as a young female who ventured alone in a new city, where I had no acquaintances and struggled with the language.Through a series of paintings made of acrylic and mixed media, I explore the places and spaces that have been meaningful to me in my journey of self-discovery, growth, and challenge. These places have become my home, my family, and my friends, and I invite you to explore them with me. This exhibition took place on August 5th and 6th at Remote Gallery in Toronto. I welcomed peopled to learn about this journey of exploration and discovery as I share the places that have helped me find myself.
